Litigation Management
Unless otherwise directed at the time of placement, all files are considered to be assigned for non-litigation recovery only. Once we have worked a file to conclusion and have exhausted all efforts to secure a voluntary payment, we may recommend filing suit to advance the collection process. Upon receipt of client authorization, we will engage one of our network attorneys located throughout the United States to initiate litigation in the proper jurisdiction. Our local counsel work on a contingency fee which is covered under our assignment agreement, so there is no additional fee to the client. Our office maintains responsibility for monitoring case activity and communicating status updates through the litigation process. We coordinate with the attorney assigned to the matter and monitor the court docket, from the filing of the initial case through discovery and post-judgment collection efforts. We maintain a close working relationship with our local counsel to ensure our clients receive the highest level of representation.
We continually seek to add additional attorneys to our network. If you are an attorney with experience handling collections or subrogation matters and would like to be considered for inclusion in our local counsel network please Contact Us and provide your curriculum vitae, a certificate of good standing, and a certificate of lawyers professional liability insurance.
